Portrait
Born in Congo and raised in Évry, Mauvais Djo first built his presence as a host and crowd energizer, moving from local lounges to club stages. He released his first song in 2020 and turned that live instinct into direct, rhythmic, communal music.
Collaborations followed, before “Y a une meuf” expanded his audience in 2023. As a member of Triangle des Bermudes and a solo artist, he has developed a world where street stories, emotion, and party energy meet, notably through L’UNDERTAKER and “Pilé”.
Sound anatomy
A Type Beat draws from musical codes and atmosphere. It does not reproduce the artist’s voice or any existing work.
A Mauvais Djo Type Beat combines atmospheric guitar, pads, Rhodes, nylon guitar, or ukulele with an Afro Drill pulse. Bouncy percussion and fast shakers create movement while a Dark Afro Trap tone keeps the tension alive.
From 110 to 140 BPM, the groove should feel clear and instantly danceable. Controlled low end, short breaks, and space through the center leave room for a collective hook, percussive flow, or melodic topline.
