How do you find the BPM of a song?

BPM means beats per minute. It helps you set a project tempo, sync a sample and prepare a mix. MyBeatz examines rhythmic onsets and their regularity in your audio. The result is an audio-based estimate, never a number inferred from the file name.

The tool does not publish your audio or add it to the marketplace. The excerpt is removed after processing. Analysis is free, with rate limits to keep the service available.

    Frequently asked questions

Why does my track show 70 BPM instead of 140?

The same rhythm can be felt at half or double speed. Compare the estimate with the snare, strong beats and your DAW metronome. Alternative tempos help you choose the pulse that fits your project.

Can I analyze rap, trap and pop?

The supplied detector focuses on common rap and pop rhythmic patterns. Triplets, tempo changes and music with few percussive attacks may produce uncertain results.

Is the detected tempo always exact?

No. Drum-free intros, swing and variable tempos can make measurement difficult. Check the result by ear and adjust it when necessary. The tool does not invent a default BPM when the rhythm is unclear.
